Since 1997, Virtuoso have established themselves as a leading hotel reservations company. We now handle many thousand bookings each year on behalf of corporate clients and organisations organising events and these may be exhibitions, professional associations or other event companies. We currently employ 22 staff and, from our office in Hitchin, deliver a range of services via our online booking tool and, predominantly via our teams os specialists who help our clients on a daily basis.
The booking confirmation process
When you have completed your booking, you will be sent an email to confirm all details relating to your booking. This is important as it is your contract with us and the hotel and should be kept safely for your reference. Please take note of the cancellation policy stated on your confirmation and if you have any queries relating to your booking please make us aware of these at your earliest convenience.
Cancellations
As mentioned previously, you will be made aware of the cancellation policy of the hotel at the time of booking and before becoming contractually obliged and this will appear again on your confirmation. It is recommended that you make a note of this deadline and, in the event that you need to cancel or amend your booking, you should do so prior to the date stated.
So, having made your booking, you can cancel without charge at any time up to cancellation deadline. If you change your mind after the deadline, you can be assured that if you cancel AFTER the cancellation deadline, it is sometimes possible that the hotel will waive their cancellation charge, this is not guaranteed but, as a courtesy, we will take the matter up with them on your behalf and advise you of the outcome.
